uniFLOW - Scan to Google Drive

Many companies share documents and images through a common cloud-based system such as Google Drive. When they come to scan straight to the Google drive, this can become more complicated. Using UniFLOW, images can be scanned straight to Google Drive, mailbox or folder, to multiple addresses, to your Sharepoint Mysite or subsites, or directly to the print room using Canon’s imageRUNNER ADVANCE, which scans the document and adds specific job instructions. It also allows for the end user identification by a variety of methods. When access is allowed, all later scan usage is allocated and recorded, and different users can be given different access rights depending on their role in the company. Documents can be automatically compressed, and automatic text recognition allows for conversion to editable formats such as a Word or Excel files. Large files can also be hyper-compressed into PDF or XPS formats, which can reduce the size of the original file to as much as 50 times smaller, increasing the speed and ease of distribution.
